Get Involved

Faculty

I am a member of the SDSU faculty interested in the theme of Experience Transformations ----- There are two ways to get involved.

Option 1 "Experience Transformations" Funded Grant Projects

  • A call for proposals is announced every February for the grant funded theme projects. For the 2019-20 AY we have delayed the announcement until August  1, 2019. A small number of awards are going to be made for Spring 2020 projects. Please contact the Common Experience director with any questions or concerns.

Option 2 Ad Hoc Common Experience

  • The subject of this year's Common Experience is (or has been) an existing component of your course. You would like to share readings or other information about how you and your students examine this subject. You can provide a reading list, suggest media and highlight your own course activities on our website through a link or we can feature it on this webpage.

  • Your research, scholarship, and or creative work is connected to the this year's Common Experience theme and you would like to have Common Experience featured with a link to this webpage.

  • By integrating the Common Experience theme in your coursework.

  • By incorporating Common Experience sponsored readings, lectures, and activities as requirements in your syllabus or as options for additional study.
